First Sky Group pledges to support more poor groups

The Executive Chairman of First Sky Group, Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse on behalf of the management of the company has pledged to continue with their charity works of supporting the needy and the poor in society.

“We will continue to render our Social Responsibilities to the Nation and to Humanity as a whole,” he stated.

He gave this assurance when he addressed First Sky Group’s 17th Annual Thanksgiving Service in Accra.

The Thanksgiving Service was to express appreciation to the Almighty God for His Grace and Mercies on the management and staff of the company over the past year.

“We are very glad to declare that God Jehovah has really been faithful to us; hence our theme for the 17th Annual Thanksgiving Day is ‘GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS’- LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23”

Mr. Kutortse averred that God has been faithful and kept His Promise, Protection, Security and His Presence with First Sky Group.

“God has shown that no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in at any point in time, He will never leave or forsake us.”

He pledged the company’s commitment to work hard and keep their integrity as a model Christian Company, committed to excellence and timely delivery of their contracts and promises.

First Sky Group since its establishment has grown prodigiously over the last decade and is managed by a highly and multi-skilled professional team, aiding timely project delivery and within budget.

The company began operations with five personnel but today, it has a staff strength of over 400 permanent managerial, administrative and technical staff as well as 1,500 casual staff.

The First Sky Group subsidiaries include; First Sky Construction, First Sky Commodities, Volta Serene Hotel, Werene Insurance Limited, First Sky Bitumen Processing Limited and Frerol Rural Bank.

The company has a Corporate Social Responsibility program that is more sympathetic towards supporting social and religious courses.

First Sky Group has played a significant role in addressing some of the social and environmental issues of the country.

The Group has assisted many individuals and organization. Education and church evangelism have also been two of the focuses of the Group’s CSR activities.

First Sky Group in 2011 built a 50-seater well-equipped Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Centre for the Aware School in the North Dayi District of the Volta Region

A full scholarship scheme is also being run by the Group for some underprivileged students annually.
