Captain of Hearts of Oak, Fatawu Mohamed, has renewed his stay with the club for another two years ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 league season.
The 27-year-old joined Hearts of Oak in 2013 from Real Tamale and has become an indispensable figure in the squad for Hearts of Oak.
Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Kwame Opare Addo, confirmed the renewal Saturday morning.
According to him, all financial details with regard to the new contact have been settled and the player is expected to feature in the game against Berekum Chelsea.
The extension, thus, wards off potential suitors of the player as Asante Kotoko were lurking around to whisk him away to Kumasi should negotiation had broken down between the player and Hearts of Oak.
